What is an average day of work like for you? Every day poses its own challenges, but by the end of any inspection/service/install there is a great sense of satisfaction.
What originally got you interested in the work that you do? Honestly, I never even knew that this niche existed. But now that I am a part of the team here; I wish I would have found this job years ago.
What is your favorite part of your work? The constant change of pace and keeping customers happy.
What is your favorite experience you had with a customer or your favorite achievement when servicing a customer? Working on a scale at the zoo in Lansing and having several otters 4-5 feet away watching me.
If you weren’t in the business of metrology, what do you think you’d be doing? Underwater basket weaving.
What are some activities you enjoy when you aren’t working? Carpentry, fishing, hunting, most anything outdoor related.
What is your favorite childhood memory? Finding 200 bucks in an old boot.
What is your favorite food? German chocolate cake.
What are some of your favorite movies? Lonesome Dove, anything by Quinton Tarantino.
What are some of your favorite musicians/bands? A little bit of everything.
What is your favorite place to travel to or visit? Northern Michigan, or family in Wyoming and Colorado.
